At Millhaven, you can "do your own thing" or join in group activities.
We occasionally meet for drill team, which walks/trots in formation to music. It's very low-pressure and strictly for
fun! Everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
Once or twice yearly, we have shows or clinics; this year we had a dressage schooling show (see below).
Other clinics held at Millhaven have included Rick Pelicano's "bombproofing your horse" and an intro to vaulting
by the Great Falls Vaulting Team. Resident trainer Ann Zinsser has given clinics on natural horsemanship, bitting, lateral
movement and advanced obstacles. From time to time, we also have games days.
In warm months, boarders who enjoy socializing often gather at our tikki hut for refreshments and to enjoy the view of
horses in the pasture.
