Millhaven Horse Farm backs to the Agricultural History Farm Park, which is part of Rock Creek Park.
The park property is protected federal/state land and incorporates a dedicated horse trail. There are both fields and
woodland. The park service mows the fields around the tree line, which makes for very pleasant riding. Trails in the woods
meander along creeks. You're likely to see a variety of wildlife including fox, deer and heron.
Boarders at Millhaven as well as riding groups such as TROT help maintain the trails. A few years ago, the trail was extended
with a huge underpass for horses that takes us under Air Park Road to the old Pope Farm.
Check out the map to Millhaven (see "Map" page), which shows the vast park area next to the farm as well as
our location.
We do NOT rent horses out to the public for trail riding. All riders at Millhaven own or lease horses that are boarded
at our farm.
